Speaking at your Event
Green Mountain Software is proud to announce that we are now offering our services as a speaker.
We can now speak at your luncheon, retreat or other get-away. Our current topic is "
Management and IT: When the Plane Crashes".
This speech draws upon lessons learned from Flight 1549 (the Hudson River Landing), Flight 401 (L-1011 Crash in the Everglades), Apollo 13 and fighting wildfires in California.
Management relies on the IT folks to keep things running smoothly, but what happens when things fail in a spectacular way?
Will you land your plane safely in the Hudson, or crash into the Everglades?
Ask yourself these questions:
- If something happens, who is in charge?
- Why are they in charge?
- Does everyone KNOW who is in charge?
- Does everyone AGREE who is in charge?
- Who is flying the plane?
One of the best things a manager did for me early in my career during a disaster was to offer to buy pizza. As a manager sometimes that's the best you can do and I'll tell you why!
As this is a new service and since we want to establish ourselves and to get feedback, we are offering our speaking engagements for the cost of travel and lunch or dinner.
